Case Studies – Zurich Tower, North Sydney

A part of the growth and revitalisation of the North Sydney business district, Zurich Tower is a 29 storey A-grade commercial office tower designed by FJMT and built by Roberts Pizzarotti. The building boasts expansive views of Sydney Harbour, particularly from the roof top terrace area which has controlled access via a dual sliding door airlock entrance automated with record STA 20 sliding door operators.

To maximise the clear opening height of the entries the operators are mounted within the ceiling space, with drop down access hatches for servicing the key components of the operators, and record’s own RIC 290 safety sensors flush mounted within the ceiling finishes. The doors are only operational via card reader internally with push button and break glass activation externally in accordance with emergency egress requirements.
