Sovereign at The Star is the largest invitation only VIP gaming room in Australia with every element of the design focusing on luxury and quality. record Automatic Doors was engaged to design, supply and install all the automatic revolving, sliding and swing doors used on the project, continuing an enduring relationship with The Star’s premises in Pyrmont dating back over 20 years.

The main entrance to Sovereign has a circular reception room with a full height curved sliding door entrance at the far end of the room. The curved doors, 4100mm high x 1100mm wide, are made from custom designed steel framing clad in Rimex quartz champagne stainless steel sheet with frosted glazing, manufactured by our client Facade Innovations. They weigh 160kg each and due to the impressive height are supported by a full length recessed floor track across the door opening.

record’s RST 20 curved automatic sliding door operator provides smooth and consistent operation of the doors via activation sensors flush mounted in the ceiling.
