Case Studies – Bank of China, Sydney

Looking to expand its Australian operations, Bank of China in 2016 acquired 140 Sussex Street, a 14 storey A grade office tower with views of Sydney’s Darling Harbour. Before relocating its Australian head office to this site, an extensive lobby refurbishment was undertaken by Built and designed by Group GSA architects.

In addition to the Hybrid Series revolving door, record also installed its DFA 127 automatic swing door operator to the adjacent aluminium framed hinged door, necessary for meeting the building's DDA obligations. To allow free egress at any time of the day or night an internal push button is mounted on the mullion while externally a card reader was provided by the security contractor to allow for after hours access.
