Case Studies – Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour

For the main entrance of Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, FJMT architects were looking for a unique and imposing revolving door design to complement the high quality finishes within the lobby of the 5 star luxury hotel. 

Working the architects, record designed a very large 4000mm diameter x 4250mm high revolving door, with sidewalls that were a combination of solid bronze cladding and frameless glazing.

With a proud history of designing and manufacturing revolving doors in Australia for over 25 years, record Automatic Doors was able to develop a suitable design and undertake all necessary custom metal fabrication and welding in its Seven Hills factory. 
The bronze cladding material was sourced from Italy by record’s client, Onsite Group. A striking entrance befitting a stunning hotel!
